Many picks.
Many parlays.
One total cost.

Enter three to eight picks, choose by 2s, by 3s or more, and see every parlay the round robin creates. You get the count, the total you are staking, and the return.

Then mark a pick as lost or pushed. The parlays that never held it keep paying, and the calculator shows exactly how much.

Every parlay settles on its own: one lost pick kills only the parlays that contain it. A pushed pick drops out and the parlay reprices on the rest. Not every book settles pushes this way — check your sportsbook's house rules.

▌ Derivation · round robin

The math behind a round robin

A round robin is a set of ordinary parlays. For n picks and a parlay size of k, the sportsbook builds every group of k picks: parlays = n! / (k! × (n − k)!).

Each parlay pays like any parlay: stake × D₁ × D₂ × … × Dₖ, where each D is a pick's decimal odds. The total cost is stake × number of parlays.

A three-pick example

Take three picks at -110, by 2s, with $10 on each parlay. That is 3 parlays and $30.00 staked. Each parlay returns 10 × 1.909 × 1.909 = $36.45.

If all three picks win, every parlay cashes and the round robin returns $109.34, a profit of $79.34.

If one pick loses, only the pair that skipped it survives. You collect $36.45 and finish up $6.45. If two picks lose, no pair survives and the full $30.00 is gone.

Pushes and voided picks

A pushed pick drops out of each parlay that held it, and the parlay is repriced on what is left. A two-team parlay with a push becomes a straight bet on the other pick. A parlay in which every pick pushes returns its stake. Not every sportsbook handles this the same way, so check the house rules for your book.

What a round robin does not do

It does not remove the sportsbook's margin. Every parlay carries that margin on each of its legs, and a round robin buys several parlays. You are spreading one opinion across more tickets, which lowers the odds of a total miss. To see the margin on a single leg, use the no-vig calculator. For one big ticket instead of many small ones, use the parlay calculator.

▌ Reference

How many parlays does each size create?

The count depends only on the number of picks and the parlay size. The last column is every size from 2s to one less than your picks, bet together.

What a miss costs you

Four picks, every price even money (+100), $10 on each parlay, by 2s and 3s: 10 parlays and $100 staked. The table shows the result as picks start to fail.

Picks won Parlays paying Return Net
4 of 4 10 of 10 $560.00 +$460.00
3 of 4 4 of 10 $200.00 +$100.00
2 of 4 1 of 10 $40.00 −$60.00
1 of 4 0 of 10 $0.00 −$100.00
0 of 4 0 of 10 $0.00 −$100.00

Three winners out of four still leave you ahead in this setup, which is the appeal of a round robin. Two winners do not. For a single-bet return, use the payout calculator; to turn a price into another format, the odds converter.

▌ FAQ

Common questions

What is a round robin bet?
A round robin takes your list of picks and turns it into every possible parlay of a size you choose. Four picks "by 2s" become six two-team parlays, one for each pair. Each parlay is bet and settled on its own with the same stake. The point is a partial payout: you can lose a pick and still cash the parlays that never contained it.
How many bets are in a round robin?
It is a combinations count. With n picks and parlays of size k, the number of parlays is n choose k. Three picks by 2s is 3 parlays, four picks by 2s is 6, and four picks by 3s is 4. Five picks by 2s is 10, six picks by 2s is 15, and six picks by 3s is 20. Selecting several sizes at once simply adds the counts, so four picks by 2s and 3s is 10 parlays.
How much does a round robin cost?
The stake you enter is charged on every parlay, so the total is that stake multiplied by the number of parlays. Ten dollars on a four-pick round robin by 2s and 3s is ten parlays and $100 out of your balance. That surprises people who read "$10 round robin" as a $10 bet. Always check the total at the bottom of the betslip before you confirm.
What happens if one pick loses?
Only the parlays that contain the losing pick lose. The rest are still alive and pay at their own combined odds. With four even-money picks by 2s and 3s at $10 each, one miss leaves three two-team parlays and one three-team parlay standing. That is $200 back on $100 staked. The reference table on this page shows every case from four winners down to none.
What happens if a pick is a push?
At most US sportsbooks a pushed or voided pick is removed from every parlay it sits in, and each parlay is repriced on the picks that remain. A two-team parlay with one push becomes a straight bet on the other pick. If every pick inside a parlay pushes, that parlay returns its stake. Settlement rules are not identical everywhere, and some promotional tickets differ, so the sportsbook's house rules are the final word.
Is a round robin better than a single parlay?
It is a different shape of risk, not a better price. Every parlay in the round robin carries the sportsbook's margin on each leg, so you are paying that margin several times over, on a larger total stake. What you gain is variance: a partial payout when one pick misses, in place of an all-or-nothing ticket. If you believe in all your picks equally, a round robin spreads the same opinion across several tickets. It does not create an edge.
How is a round robin different from a reverse bet?
A round robin is built only from parlays. A reverse bet (such as an if-bet reverse or action reverse) works on a different structure of sequenced bets, so its totals and settlement do not match what this calculator shows. If your slip says round robin, the combinations and payouts here apply.
How many picks can a round robin have?
Sportsbooks differ, and the number of parlays grows quickly: eight picks across every size from 2s to 7s is 246 parlays. This calculator accepts 3 to 8 picks and sizes from 2s up to one less than your number of picks. A round robin of all your picks in one parlay is just a regular parlay, which the parlay calculator handles.
