Responsible Gambling

Warning signs
- Betting more than you can afford to lose.
- Chasing losses with bigger bets.
- Lying to family or friends about how much you bet.
- Betting interfering with work, sleep, or relationships.
- Feeling restless or irritable when not betting.
Bankroll principles we teach
- Never bet money you can't afford to lose. The Kelly criterion assumes a finite, defined bankroll.
- Use fractional Kelly (1/2 or 1/4 of full Kelly) to reduce variance.
- Set a stop-loss for each session and walk away when hit.
- Track every bet in a log. Self-deception is easier when you don't.
BettorStack will never suggest betting more, chasing losses, or "doubling down". Calculators show math; what you do with it is your decision. If that decision is starting to feel like it isn't yours anymore — please call one of the help lines above.
